What We Do?
Our underlying retirement planning philosophy is Losses Hurt you More than Gains Help you™.
It’s not enough to simply leave your money in the stock market and hope that the next 50% draw-down doesn’t hit right when you are planning to retire.
The most critical element to a successful retirement is your ability to have sustainable, income for life. Our goal-based financial planning process is designed to help you obtain the income you need in order to meet the goals you have set for your retirement while identifying and mitigating all the risks and pitfalls you may encounter along the way.
How We Help?
The lessons of over 60 years of combined experience are available to you for FREE by attending one of our retirement classes.
Finding creative ways to protect and grow the assets of our clients is our passion. Financial Planning
The most critical element to a successful retirement is your ability to have Income for Life. Our goal-based financial planning process is designed to help you obtain the income you need in order to meet the goals you have set for your retirement. One of those goals is for you to stay retired even during the inevitable market fluctuations that are common to our financial markets.
Investment Management
At L5F, we have offer strategies we call Private Wealth Strategies. Private Wealth Strategies are individually designed to address different objectives. When put together in a portfolio. The goal is to create a profile that is growth oriented while protecting downside risk during periods of market fluctuations.
Our investment management process adheres to Nobel Prize winning theory using passive and sometimes active-specialist managers, typically only utilized by large pension plans and other large entities. These disciplined investment strategies are time-tested (proven in good markets and bad) and utilize successful risk management techniques so you can sleep at night. Regardless of your needs, we have you covered with a personalized investment portfolio.
We believe:
- There is no “magic bullet” investment strategy to beat markets consistently and predictably
- No one can promise investment returns. We focus on planning for – and achieving – all of your financial life goals regardless of market/economic conditions
- Financial advisor professionals should be as objective as possible and compensated accordingly.
- Investment portfolios should be engineered to be broadly diversified, low cost & tax efficient, and custom tailored for each clients’ time horizon, financial & retirement goals, ability and need to take risk
- All clients should have a structured Investment Policy Statement detailing the investment management philosophy, tools, strategies, risk, and rebalancing procedures to increase consistency and improve clarity between advisor and client
- Investment costs/fees and taxes matter – the more you save, the more you keep!
- Liquidity is often king
